Mobile Workshops

We are sustainably-minded, wood art focused workshops designed to come to you. Let us show you how to create something new using reclaimed materials that were destine for the landfill.

Wagon Wood Reuse offers environmentally friendly, mobile workshops. We will come to your company, organization, school or home and provide hands-on workshops using reclaimed lumber and materials. We offer an exciting new twist to team building through DIY projects which inspire employees' creativity and help improve productivity. And, by using materials that were destined for the landfill, our workshops help educate kids and adults to be mindful of what is going into their dumpsters.

Founder, Owner, Artist and Workshop Instructor

Heather White is considered an expert in the reclaimed building material field. She comes from a background in reuse and sustainability. From childhood on, she could always be found salvaging items. She has saved thousands of materials in alleyways in Austin, Chicago and across the country that were destined for the landfill. For her new business venture, Heather works with local nonprofits and businesses to acquire the materials used for her workshops.

Prior to the development and launch of Wagon Wood™, Heather was the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for a social venture nonprofit with a mission to divert building materials from going into the waste stream. Her main roles were developing and overseeing the award winning workshops series as well as spreading the word on the importance of diverting materials from landfills and how to do it.
